I like the concept of the neckbreak, but I feel that it can finish the action too abruptly. I prefer a slow strangulation, where you get a real sense of rising panic.

I wish these directors would make the breaks more of a powerful, twisting struggle, rather than a quick snap.

And about the neckbreak, Ok it's fast, but mostly in hollywood movies.
In some of old n*a*u*g*h*t*h*y panda vids there is some nice series of bone break + intense neck squeezing (very long time...)
Then a finish with a good snap without any mercy when the opponent is weakened!
