Okay, I hadn't seen that but that's sick. I don't think I've seen someone finish a standing arm triangle before.

Prime Marlon Sandro. He was a beast though.

I love Eye but yeah I worry she'll be undersized at 135 (Gurgel is basically a 115er).

The UFC, helpful people that they are, have decided to release all of the one-round elimination fights that narrowed down the TUF contenders to the final teams.

You should be able to find them here. They're uncut and uncensored so presumably you're going to be hearing some bad language and whatnot. I've only watched a couple but they're pretty good quality.

Edit: seems like they're 2 round fights.

Disappointing stuff from Baszler, she should be winning fights by submission on TUF, not losing them. Still, she gassed really bad when she lost to Davis by submission as well, so it looks like there's some quit in her. Shame, because she has talent.

Dumb fight choice from Ronda too. Why put your number 1 pick against the other team's number one pick when you can give them a much easier fight and make sure you get plenty of time to work with them, improve them and give them a real chance at winning the whole thing? Dumb.

So are any of you guys actually getting a chance to watch TUF? I don't get it here so I haven't seen it, but everything I've read about the show seems to say that Rousey and her coaching staff seem to be coming over really badly?

Yeah definitely, really a poor show in terms of sportmanship and class. I mean, especially Ronda and her armenian coach Edmond are acting like two big kid bullies from what I can see.
I think there is a fine line between being ambitious and never wanting to lose and being just childish and immature. Ronda definitely crossed that line many times. She took her team's losses like a little kid in the school, crying and waving non-sense insults to Miesha and her team.
As far as I'm concerned, I don't like people like that too much. It seems crazy, but they're making Caraway look like a gentleman.
Btw, most of all I care about the fighting, and there is some talent in this TUF season. I cant wait to see the semifinals, some good matchups ot there!!

sammy, you really need to download and install utorrent, then head over to thepiratebay.sx and type 'the ultimate fighter' in the search box and there are plenty of torrents with lots of 'seeders', from past episodes and the latest episodes are usually posted in less than a day...it's easy-peasy once you get the hang of it!

I think we all knew (or should have known) this about Ronda from her past behaviour. She's not well balanced.

I don't mean this as an insult but I wonder if any brain damage Ronda suffered at birth from the cord around the neck thing might be the reason she'll get upset and cry at even the smallest things. People who suffer brain damage often have trouble controlling their emotions, if it affects the part of the brain that regulates them. It would certainly explain alot about Ronda.

I think it's more attributable to the hella fucked up upbringing she had, frankly. Girl went through a lot of trauma and weird shit and seems to be incredibly self-centred and fragile and have a tiny comfort zone as a result.

The infamous Fallon Fox has been defeated!

Ashlee Evans-Smith proved herself the superior fighter @ CFA 12, scoring a 3rd round TKO victory over the much discussed M-to-F transgender fighter.

It was actually a good back and forth fight in the first round with Evans-Smith scoring a take down early and doing some solid work in side control, pummelling Fox with elbows and looking for a choke before Fox got the better of a stand-up striking exchange and had her opponent covering up and looking hurt.

Evans-Smith's superior wrestling, cardio and all-round toughness began to prove too much for Fox in the 2nd however and was on the verge of finishing Fox, having secured full mount and raining down punches. There was some confusion as she and the crowd actually thought she had won it as the ref intervened at, or just before, the end of the round.

Although seemingly saved by a controversial decision to let the fight continue on into a third, Fox was once again dominated by her aggressive opponent. Taken down and roughed up by Evans-Smith who eventually advanced into full mount once again and laid the smack down with a continuous flow of punches leaving the ref no option but to jump in and save the visibly exhausted and out-classed Fallon Fox.

In her late 30s, this may spell the end for Fallon Fox's 15 minutes of fame.

Well at least we're not going to have any more ridiculous comments about how she's the only opponent that makes sense for Cyborg now right?
