Grappling > striking, plus that Ukranian chick is hot..... 8)

Joanna Jedrzejczyk disagrees. ;D

Plus Moroz can Box, it appears. She's a killer. Can't see too many girls being in a hurry to fight "the iron woman" after last night's performance.

I believe Moroz boxed before she learned jui jitsu. Esparza can't box for toffee, so I can foresee Moroz defending better (head movement, footwork and counter-punching) against Jedrzejczyk's superior striking, but like Ronda, using her boxing to attain the clinch. She can then pull guard and drag Jedrzejczyk to the ground. Depends on how good Joanna's sub defence is.

Moroz seems a better prospect for a strawweight mini-Ronda, than Namajunas proved to be.

The 115lb division is certainly interesting. There are going to be some intriguing fights over the next few years. I honestly thought Claudia Gadelha would overwhelm the division and become Ronda Rousey light but that, of course didn't happen. Fun weight class! Can't wait to see what happens.

Felice Herrig training for VanZant. Looking beastly!

The girls are looking forward to it.

Yup, Paige owned her. I thought she was in big trouble in the first round, when Felice took her back, but she got out of it quite easily. From that moment on, she was really dishing out some serious punishment.

And what a cutie! Great fight, indeed.

Here are some caps:

Michelle Waterson has been signed by the UFC as a strawweight. I suspect they may be matching her up with golden girl Paige Vanzant as a big draw fight that Paige has a better chance of winning than vs say Carla Esparza or Claudia Gadelha.

Michelle Waterson

Michelle Waterson lost her Invicta FC atomweight title this past December, but that won't keep her out of the UFC.

Waterson (12-4) – "The Karate Hottie" – has signed with the UFC and is expected to make her promotional debut this summer, moving up 10 pounds to strawweight from 105 pounds. (The UFC doesn't have an atomweight division.)

UFC officials announced the signed on a special Monday edition of "UFC Tonight" on FOX Sports 1.

Waterson won Invicta's 105-pound title with a fourth-round submission of Jessica Penne at Invicta FC 5 a little more than two years ago. She didn't defend the belt until September 2014, when she topped Yasuko Tamada with a third-round TKO.

But against Herica Tiburcio in December, she was upset with a third-round triangle choke in Houston. The loss was her first since April 2009 and snapped a six-fight winning streak.

All told, the New Mexico-based Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA product has 10 of her 12 wins by stoppage, including seven submissions.

No date or opponent was announced for Waterson's UFC debut, which is expected to be this summer.

Speaks volumes about the UFC that they will sign the Karate Hottie over the girl that beat her.

Waterson might be even cuter than Vanzant. Approved ;)

Dana White should address that paradox!
