"COMBAT CLUB"

On our way out for a three day trip last weekend, we decided to try an experiment by turning our cameras over to Rochelle Cassidy and tasking her to shoot and deliver a complete, end-to-end "shelf ready" video.  She was to come up on her own with a backstory, choose the performers, and get a script written and shot.  Then was then to do all the editing, fx and post-production by herself and deliver to us a final, finished product ready to be uploaded for sale, complete with credits, blooper reel, trailer and screen caps.

What she, Roxie Lace and Monique Lavallee came up with was a takeoff on the movie "Fight Club", and the end result simply is fantastic.  Rochelle used very unique camera angles to capture some awesome combat choreography by the Girlz, and even produced a very creative opening title sequence for her first end-to-end video.  She's very proud of her work - and so are we.

This one is an even battle until the second half, when one of the Girlz begins to take over and eventually finishes off her foe.  No background music in this one - it doesn't need it!

Carmen Porta is purrrfect once again, reprising her role as Catwoman.  This time, she steals an acient chalice with plans to sell it to the highest bidder, but a tough-as-nails police detective tracks her down to recover the chalice and put Catwoman behind bars for good.

Newcomer Eva Montana makes a fantastic debut in this one gang, showing some nifty boxing and kickboxing skills, while Carmen Porta turns in another of her usual, brilliant performances.

"UNDERGROUND"

In this custom-ordered clip, Roxie Lace plays the tough-as-nails organizer of an underground fight club, and an undercover detective is sent in to infiltrate it.

Per the customer's request, this video is patterned after 50s-era cinematic fight scenes such as the diner fight near the end of the film "Giant" involving Rock Hudson; 2) the saloon brawl in the film "Spoilers" involving John Wayne and Randolph Scott; and the climactic fight between Claudia Cardinale and Brigitte Bardot in "The Legend of Frenchie King".

As the customer requested: "Pure fighting, complete with torn clothing and lots of props being flung around.  No bear hugs.  No throat lifts.  No wrestling moves.  No martial arts from other continents."

This one's as much fun to watch for us as it was to make!

Two corporate spies from rival companies search for the plans to a powerful new, recently developed energy source.  After discovering each other on scene, the agree to work together, and eventually find what they are looking for.  But once found, they defer a shoot out for possession of the plans in lieu of a winner-take-all armwrestling match.  The match fails to resolve the issue, so they are left with only one choice: a fight to the finish.

Awesome combat scenes in this one gang, with something for everyone. including an interesting armwrestling contest (it was real), an extended bearhug by the increasingly stronger Eva, body scissors, neck scissor, throatlift, ground & pounds and some great combat scenes that were totally unscripted.  Great stuff by both of our Girlz!
